FAQ
short answers.

The questions buyers ask most, answered from the code.

01The product

Can users trade from the Terminal?

No. The Terminal in this release is read-only: no wallet connection, no key, no order. The order flow is designed but not built in this release.

Will I earn builder fees with this release?

Not from this release on its own: fees are charged on orders, and this release places none. You can record your builder code and see which on-chain fills carry it. See Builder code.

Does the Scanner find opportunities?

It shows historical differences in pricing with every fee counted. In the committed snapshot none was positive after fees, and the page says so. It does not recommend trades.

Is there a Telegram bot?

No bot runtime ships. The admin holds its settings (username, channel link, send rate) and can test a bot token; nothing sends messages.

Is this a trading platform?

No. It is a read-only data and analytics tool: it shows public market data and historical differences in pricing. It takes no stakes, holds no funds, runs no markets and places no orders.

Do I need API keys?

No. Every venue endpoint used is public and unauthenticated. Optional items (your own Polygon RPC URL, a Telegram bot token, a webhook) are only for the admin's checks and alerts.

Do I need a server?

No. The pages are static and the data job runs on GitHub Actions. The admin runs on your own computer.

How fresh is the data?

As fresh as the last refresh run. The schedule ships off; turn it on in refresh.yml and mind the Actions minutes.

Can I show only one venue?

Yes: Admin → Venues hides Kalshi or Polymarket on the pages. The job still fetches both until you change the workflow.

Can I block countries?

Not from the Stack: a static page does not know the visitor's country. Do it at your host or in front of it.
